Do High Hcg Levels Always Mean You Are Pregnant?
One of my friends keeps getting her hopes up when her doctors say a high HCG level, but she’s had 4 “miscarriages” in the past year. A doctor will say she’s pregnant without knowing her history and then she’ll get her period and the doctor will say “Oh, sorry, you lost the baby/babies”.
What is going on?
I looked this up a little already, and there are a few illnesses that can also go hand-in-hand with a high HCG level.
No Spotting,no Period, Does This Mean No Hcg In My Urine For The Test?
Do you have to have the spotting from implantation before the HCG hormone is in your urine? I’m 5 days late but ept test is negative. I didn’t have any spotting, does that mean negative?
My Hcg Level Was 8225 And I Am Just Starting My 5th Week Of Pregnancy, Does This Mean Multiples?

What Does It Mean If Hcg Levels Started Off Rising Quickly But Have Slowed Way Down?
At 6w4d, I had spotting and cramping and I went to the ER. They tested my HCG level and it was at 33,000. I went for a follow up blood test at 6w6d and it was 38,000. I went for an ultrasound at 7w4d and the heart was beating at 156bpm and the doctor said everything looked good but wanted me to go for one more round of blood work. Later that evening I took another beta HCG test and my level was at 57,000. At 7w6d, I took another blood test and it had only rose to 63,000.
It seems with the initial level of 33,000, my levels were doubling as normal, but have now slowed to a doubling time of approx. 10 days. Has this ever happened to anybody? What does it mean when they start to slow down this early before the placenta forms, but the ultrasound still looks good?
What Does It Mean When Your Hcg Levels Are Really Low?
I had the test done today and thay said that the hcg level was so low. They said I have to have it redone in 48 hours. I’m worried that maybe it’s a tubular pregnancy or something worse. Should I be worried?
By the way, it’s been about two weks after conception and I’m only a couple of days away from the time I’m supposed to get my period. Thank You.
Does Pregancy Symptoms Before A Missed Period Mean You Have Enough Hcg For A Home Test To Pick Up?
I’m only 8 dpo but I’m already having pregnancy symptoms (tender/swollen breast, abdominal cramps, dizziness). Does having these symptoms this early mean that I probably have enough hcg in my system for an early home pregagncy test (25 miu) to pick up? If not, what’s the earliest a 25 miu HPT would show a positive?

What Does It Mean That Hcg Are Rising But The Embryo Is Not Growing?
Early in the prenancy I experienced spotting (appx 6 weeks), after consulting the doctor they called me in for an ultrasound. The ultrasound results showed a yoke sack no fetal pole, the conclusion was it appeared to be an early pregnancy (appx 4 weeks). Doctors ordered hcg level checks each one showed a rise in levels. An additional ultrasound was ordered about two weeks later, and there was still just a yoke sac. I was then taken for more blood work which proved a huge increase in hcg levels from about 8,000 to about 19,000. Is there any information that anyone has, since the doctors are not offering to much? Keep in mind that spotting did continue.
