Book reviews: Natural Cures They Dont Want You to Know About, by Kevin Trudeau – Part 15
While I was aware of the evils of insurance companies and how they exist purely to benefit themselves, I was less aware of the correlation between organizations such as WHO, FDA, and major drug manufacturers. I found this to be quite informative. I think he could easily fill a week-long seminar with information that would make my skin crawl.
I personally like the facts given to me in one shot. Tell me and move on. I made it about 50 pages in before I started feeling a bit lectured to and began skipping around. I was eager to get to the goods: the forbidden secrets of healing. For someone who prides himself on healthy living, he spent an awfully long time being angry in this book and that’s not healthy. So I sifted through and must report that I didn’t find any secrets about healing that I wasn’t already in touch with. That’s not to say that someone else just starting out on the path of natural health wouldn’t find very helpful suggestions on nutrition and natural healing in his writings. And in all fairness, I don’t know Kevin personally. He may be very well adjusted and have a good routine to off-load all that anger.
I commend Kevin’s courage to speak out despite the constant threat of retaliation from our own Government. If you want to get in touch with the corruption of the healthcare industry, check out this book. If you want to learn more about natural health, this book will get you on your journey.
Kevin Trudeau’s 10 Reasons Why Diabetics and Pre-diabetics Get Fat
n his book, Natural Cures, New York Times best-selling author and controversial spokesperson Kevin Trudeau, champions holistic treatment of illnesses, including diabetes and pre-diabetes. Trudeau has developed a huge following of readers.
Â
Two of the biggest problems of diabetics, pre-diabetics and others, are weight gain and high blood sugar levels.
Â
Trudeau has put together a “Top 10†list of underlying reasons why people get fat. These include:
Â
#1 Low metabolism
Â
Trudeau says that a low metabolism requires a lot of energy to burn off a small amount of food, or it gets turned into fat. Under-active thyroids, a poor performing pancreas, clogged and sluggish liver, sluggish digestive system are some of the primary reasons for this low metabolic condition.
Â
#2 Eating when you’re not hungry
Â
Stress and physical food cravings are cited by Trudeau as the primary cause of eating, even when you’re full.
Â
#3 Large Appetites
Â
Lack of digestive enzymes and Candida yeast overgrowth reduce your body’s ability to assimilate nutrients, resulting in insatiable hunger.
Â
#4 Hormonal imbalances
Â
Your body may be secreting too many harmful hormones and not enough healthy hormones, creating an imbalanced state.
Â
#5 Eating larger portions
Â
Needing larger portions to satisfy hunger is a cultural issue (most U.S. food portions are considerably larger than European portions), larger appetites, physiological cravings and even stress can cause a need for more food.
Â
#6 High consumption of diet food
Â
“Dietâ€, “low fatâ€, “low carbâ€, even “lean†foods and beverages are loaded with artificial flavorings, colorings and additives that, according to Trudeau, actually make you fatter. They increase your appetite, and make you physically addicted to eating more, causing you to get fatter.
Â
#7 High toxic conditions
Â
Found mainly in the colon and fat cells, toxins lodge themselves in your body. They cause you to retain water, and increase fat stores.
Â
#8 Eating before bed
Â
When you sleep your body’s metabolism is slowed, converting fewer calories to energy and more to fat.
Â
#9 Growth Hormones in Meat and Dairy Products
Â
Many of the meat and dairy products you consume contain large quantities of growth hormones that cause obesity in your own body.
Â
#10 Fat people see themselves as fat
Â
It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy that what you focus or think about most, is what you become. Fat people see themselves as fat, and become that, even if they’re slightly overweight.
Â
In addition to Kevin Trudeau’s Top 10 list of why diabetics and pre-diabetics get fat, we’d like to add one more.
Â
Increasingly, evidence suggests that high consumption of high fructose corn syrup, a cheap sugar substitute, is also a major cause of diabetic problems.
Â
Because it’s more calorie dense than sugar, it adds pounds to your waist and every other area of your body. But it also drains chromium from your system, causing an imbalance in your blood sugar levels – it’s called a double whammy effect. Not only does it trigger obesity, it also sends your blood sugar through the roof.
Â
Many of the people we talk to every day, suffer from obesity or are considerably overweight.
Â
They got that way, because they suffer from or have behavior patterns outlined by Kevin Trudeau, that give them a life-threatening body condition that demands immediate shedding of pounds.
Â
If you suffer from diabetic weight loss or even abnormal blood sugar levels, there are natural, herbal remedies and treatments that can help you restore your health and give your control over diabetes.

Debt Cures Reveals Secrets About the Lending Industry – Part 1
In chapter 7, Kevin Trudeau explains the most important way to combat the credit card companies is to get a copy of your credit report. You are allowed one free copy a year. In chapters 8 and 9 of Debt Cures, he tells you how to get the report and then says how you can go and better your credit report. The most important thing to do is to improve your score. The best way to find out what needs to be done score is to get your credit report and to understand it.
The credit card companies rely on three companies in the United States to create the reports. All three companies are required at your request to give you a copy of the report annually. Don’t worry, Trudeau provides you with the contact information for each of the companies so getting you report is easy. After getting the report you must review it completely.
There are four main areas on your report: 1.) Personal Information, 2.) Credit Information, 3.) Public Record Information, and 4.) Inquiries.
Personal information is the basic information about yourself such as your name, date of birth, address etc. It is not uncommon to find someone else’s information here so make sure each detail is correct. What could be messing up your credit is someone’s information on your credit report. This is a quick and certain way of improving your credit.
Credit information is the guts of the report. This will show your loan and credit history. Make sure this is accurate, if you have paid off a loan, and the report shows it as unpaid, you need to correct this immediately.
Public Record information could be a legal judgment or a tax lien. Again, you want to verify that the information is accurate.
The final section of the credit report is inquiries. Each time a company attempts to verify your credit it will show on this section. Every credit card that you have applied for will show up on this report, and each time it will lower your score. That’s why you should not be applying for every credit card offer in the mail or at every store in your local mall.
Your credit score will fall between 300 and 850 reports. You want to get as high a score as possible, if you are average or slightly below average, the credit card companies will seek you out because you are a candidate to get behind in your payments and they make a higher profit money from you.
There are many ways to improve your credit. Trudeau provides details on how to do it. Always make sure you contact the credit reporting companies to correct any errors. This can be done on the telephone, online or by snail mail. The dispute process is free, in 30 days the reporting companies must correct any errors. If they cannot justify the reason it is on the report you win and it must taken off of your report. Make sure you check each of the three reports carefully, as an error may only be on one of the reports. You will have to open three disputes if it is on every report. Again, Trudeau lays it all out clearly in Debt Cures.
Debt Cures continues to say that it is up to you to take control. Take the time and effort to work on your credit report; it can only save you money in the long run.
Book reviews: Natural Cures They Dont Want You to Know About, by Kevin Trudeau – Part 9
I have seen Kevin Trudeau hawk his book, “Natural Cures ‘They’ Don’t Want You to Know About”, on television. My neighbor even gave me a copy of the book and read it, and I just can’t believe what he’s saying about the health care and pharmaceutical industries.
He gets on TV and tells people that there are natural cures for every single disease that you can think of, such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, herpes, and ADD. He also bashes the pharmaceutical and health care industries and tells people to take an all-natural cure instead of taking drugs and having surgery.
As my late grandmother used to say, he’s full of hot air. There is no cure for cancer, diabetes and herpes. New drugs are being researched every single day. How many times have you seen ads in the paper or on television for a research study for an investigational new drug that you can take part in? Doctors are always keeping up with the latest drugs and techniques in patient care and surgery, so they should know what is best for you.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again until I’m blue in the face: if Kevin Trudeau ever got sick and he has to go see a doctor or go to the hospital, they are not going to give him an all-natural cure; they are going to give him either drugs or surgery. All he’s doing is making a fortune off of his book, and that’s the bottom line. If you ever get sick, do the right thing and go see a doctor.
If he was banned from doing anymore infomercials, how did he find a loophole for him to get on TV and hawk his book?
Debt Cures: Fight Back Against Your Credit Card Company
Kevin Trudeau says it is time to fight fire with fire when combating credit card companies in chapter 7 of Debt Cures. The lenders are unscrupulous in their tactics, so Trudeau urges consumers to counter attack. Remember facing down bullies when you were a child, push back and watch them back down. Debt Cures describes how to fight the good fight. Once more Trudeau says that lenders by their actions are keeping Americans in debt it is not your spending habits, lenders put you into and debt and do their best to keep you there.
To be armed for the fight; Trudeau says you must take a realistic look at your present financial state. When you visit a physician, you expect a proper exam before being told what your sickness is and before hearing the prescription for your recovery. The same principle applies when discussing your financial health take a realistic look at how you got into the situation, if you know your current financial strengths and weaknesses the better able you will be to fight back. Trudeau wants you to end your bad debt and begin using good debt to create wealth for you and your family. You do not need to be bullied around any longer.
Begin the checkup with your credit report and your credit score. All lenders use your credit report to settle on what they will lend you and more importantly what interest rate they will use. The higher you can get your score, the better it will be for you. Always try to avoid bankruptcy; the sting of bankruptcy will hurt your future chances of good credit.
In the United States there are three major providers of credit reports to lenders. Each grades you between 300 and 850 points. As in football, you will want to run up your score whenever possible. What the three companies are looking for are indications of your financial health. They will look at how much in debt you are, are you someone who pays their bills on time and other intimate information about your finances. They are trying to figure out if you are someone capable and willing to pay back the debt. It is strictly a numbers game; it doesn’t look at anything other than you current or past finances. While this can be a handy tool for lenders, it is not something that is always fair to the consumer.
Something else to keep in mind regarding your credit report; while you would think that only maybe a handful of people can see your credit report, you might be surprised at how many people can view it. An employer or a prospective employer can review your credit report, while a landlord or your insurance company can check on you as well. You have the right to a free copy of your credit report on a yearly basis. Next up, Trudeau will go into detail on how to read the report, how to raise your score and what to do to get a copy of your report from each of the three companies. Debt Cures will help you create wealth for yourself and to win the fight against high debt and the lenders.
Book reviews: Natural Cures They Dont Want You to Know About, by Kevin Trudeau – Part 3
If you have ever found yourself awake into the wee hours of the morning, you have probably been lulled to sleep by his talk-show-esque style touting his book “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About” and offering all natural, snake oil like cures to people, some desperate for a cure. Kevin Trudeau has been on the best-seller list for six months with his book Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About and he says he’s sold five million books according to 20/20. What is probably less known is that Mr. Trudeau went to jail twice, once for scamming a bank and again for cheating his customers through credit card fraud. Thereafter, he made false claims about improving your memory, opined that calcium would cure cancer and offered magnetic beds to cure migraines. In 2004, Mr. Trudeau agreed to give up one his homes as part of a $2 million settlement, but it would not take long before he was back to his old antics. Not only did he come back with the Natural Cures book, but also web site where eager consumers are offered the “opportunity” to pay $499 for a lifetime membership to his site. The truth is, Conspiracy Theories have always sold. (Trudeau’s empire is allegedly worth 2 billion). Many people secretly want to believe that the government or large scale industries (like drug companies) are hiding things and wreaking havoc on innocent, ill grandparents who just want a remedy. These masses flock to such a book, that if you have read, offers little more than common sense. The sad part, however are the desparate souls who have taken his advice. 20/20 reported of a woman who stopped using her drugs based on Trudeau’s advice, and subsequently suffered a terrible seizure and the list goes on. To appear as a consumer advocate, Kevin’s own web-site states: “Kevin is actively pursuing lawsuits against the individuals, corporations, and government agencies that take advantage of the average consumer.” Trudeau frequently accuses the Food and Drug Administration of being only concerned with money, however as his pocket books grow thicker praying on the despairing hopes of others, it is Mr. Trudeau who has truly managed to capitalize on this group.

Before you run out and buy his book, please look up Kevin Trudeau in Wikipedia:

I have rather negative feelings about “Natural Cures They’ Don’t Want You to Know About”. Mr. Trudeau brings up some very serious accusations against government organizations created to protect us. I am not so naive to think these organizations are pure and righteous, but I question Trudeau’s sources and would like more real facts, and fewer accusations. As to his “cures” and “treatments”, I think they are limited. And, if this were the only source a person was using for natural healing, it would be dangerous.
A health book written by a pool hustler / felon? If ever there were a time to say “Buyer beware”, this is the time. I do have to admire Trudeau, he is a millionaire who has benefited by consumer fears, and hopes for cures. I have always appreciated the talents of a good con artist. “The Sting” still ranks as one of my favorite movies of all time.
Trudeau and his writers are very skillful to go to the edge of “freedom of speech” without committing any new crimes. Unfortunately the book is plagued with unsubstantiated statements, and someone less suspicious as I might take his words as dogma. I would not recommend this book as a source for “natural healing”, but I would recommend it to those that want to see persuasive manipulation at its best.
Book reviews: Natural Cures They Dont Want You to Know About, by Kevin Trudeau – Part 13
In the nineteenth century, quacks travelled through the pioneering settlements touting spurious cures for all manner of ailments. They would sell to the gullible and vulnerable and, of course, their products had no curative or medically beneficial effects. Kevin Trudeau has brought this practice into the twenty first century with alarming ease. Marketing himself as a consumer advocate battling the evil medical establishment who are doing all they can to silence him, he has caught the imagination of the American public. His smoke and mirrors approach is particularly effective as he latches onto real scandals and issues with healthcare in the US and then purports to have the answers, which he sets out in his best-selling book, Natural Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About.
The book and accompanying publicity makes a number of unsubstantiated claims mixed in with perceived wisdom in an effort to lend support. This is a clever ploy as people will be able to identify from their day to day experience the veracity of some of the advice, such as eating a balanced and healthy diet, avoid processed foods where possible and undergo some form of detoxing on a regular basis. This lends credence to the more unusual advice which people may be fooled into accepting as truth on the basis of the known good advice. This may have been adopted as a marketing ploy in the absence of any credibility of the author, either as a medical practitioner, someone with medical knowledge or a trustworthy expert. While some of the advice is simply spurious, some medical practitioners have pointed to some potentially harmful side effects of what the book advocates. For example, the book suggests that in order to detoxify your body you should undergo colonic irrigation every other day over a month. This might however cause harm and so should not be undertaken without at least consulting someone who does have medical knowledge.
This is not the first of Mr Trudeau’s entrance to the world of providing expert advice on subjects in which he is not an expert. This has included advertising his Mega Memory System, Eden’s Secret Nature’s Purifying Product and Sable Hair Farming System. In these he was accused by the FTC of making false or unsubstantiated claims. He also spent two years in prison for credit card fraud and had to settle out of court in relation to accusations of running a pyramid selling scheme. In 2003, he was fined $2 million dollars and banned in perpetuity from appearing in infomercials or advertising products and services to the public. This followed the FTC challenging his claims that calcium could cure cancer, claims which the FTC successfully argued were unsubstantiated. He is able to continue to market his books under protection of the first amendment.
This man has been very successful at making money off the back of his claims, but before you add to his fortune I would urge you to ask yourself whether you really believe he is the victim of a conspiracy to silence him to protect corporate profits or whether it is more likely that he is simply out to make profit wherever he can without regard to any damage he might do. You will have to decide for yourself.
A Review Of Kevin Trudeau
Kevin Trudeau is a man of mystery solving. Solving the mysteries of healthy living through his best selling books on natural cures and home remedies. He has a lot of readers that claim they live healthier, happier lives because of what he has taught them in his books. Revealing the truth, so they say.
He is really coming out into the forefront of the media as one of the most popular gurus at combating obesity. He will be revealing not only what has caused it, why it is so widespread, but also how to stop it.
Kevin Trudeau has had obesity problems of his own in the past, and feels this as a personal interest in this subject. He used a system that was developed in the 1950s in Great Britain. This system helped him to lose 45 lbs in just 42 days while keeping his health in top condition. He wants to share these methods with his fans and the world. He says he will promise to help you burn fat more effectively than any other diet around. He says that fad diets, expensive gym fees and trainers, and all the dietary fads have failed you and with him, you will succeed.
I bet you are wondering how this system works, and what it is. Well, let’s find out. In the 1950s, Dr. A.T.W. Watson of Britain developed this system. A person who is obese is given the proper medical treatment and then is advised with some guidelines that will ultimately shed pounds. Using this therapy, you are supposed to be able to lose weight quickly and easily. There has been a study that has shown people to be more fit and noticed changes in their shape. They were also found to have fewer unhealthy food cravings.
Well, since it has hit the market, his program has become very popular with those who have fought a lifetime of obesity. Trudeau does stress that his method have been tried and tested in double-blind studies and shown to work. He believes in it not only because of the tests but also because of his own success with it.
Kevin has another book out on the market that seems to be good information on Debt Cures. But this information is any information you can find on the Internet. It covers the basics of debt, credit scores and so on. You are led throughout the first half of his book to the two words that are his secret to. Kevin would hype up these two words big time and they are to help you protect your credit. I know, I know, you want to know what those two words are. Well, not telling you yet. This is something that can ruin your credit report and credit score faster than anything on the planet. This will put your life in turmoil and cause you financial ruin if you don’t protect yourself. Ok, now you are still waiting for these two words. Well, hold on, Kevin made you wait 12 whole chapters; I only have a few paragraphs here.
Ok, where was I? Oh..Yeah, so, Kevin recommends you check your credit report often and monitor it so you can protect yourself from…ok…here it comes…. ready? It is I——- T—-! Can you believe it? Ok…so you I didn’t really need to put it in code like that. I am sure you know what it is. But I can’t really give away what it is Kevin’s book, now can I? You will just have to read it to see if I am right.
Anyway, I am not saying anything bad or good about Kevin Truduea and his books and secrets. He does a lot of research and he believes what he is saying is true. He is also making millions upon millions “exposing†the medical field and the government of all their “secrets†and “hidden agendasâ€. So, the choice is yours my friend. Do your research; there are ways to find out his secrets, too.
There are more weight loss systems than you could ever count on the market today. There are people who suffer from obesity and have tried and failed over and over again. Some are even dangerous and have caused irreparable damages. This what Trudeau says makes his different. His methods are to be safe and effective and will fight the obesity problem.
Book reviews: Natural Cures They Dont Want You to Know About, by Kevin Trudeau – Part 1
The book of Proverbs has two verses, both in the same chapter, both offering seemingly contradictory advice, but they explain the dilemma in which I find myself when attempting to review Kevin Trudeau’s “Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You To Know About”. The first verse says, “Answer a fool according to his folly lest he be wise in his own eyes.” The second verse says, “Answer not a fool according to his folly lest you be like him.” Should I review the book and risk sounding as much a fool as the author, or should I remain silent and let him think that his folly has been received as wisdom? I feel it best if I let Kevin Trudeau review his own book. First, some background.
In the beginning was the Table of Contents, and the Table of Contents was without flaw or fault, and Kevin said, “It’s good.” The Table of Contents was logical and appealing and many perused with eager anticipation of great knowledge and salvation from disease, pain and worry. They read the book with greedy souls, hoping to find the panacea for all ills. They saw the Table Of Contents offered exposition and explanation about the evil that is Modern Medicine. They paged ahead for the coveted Bonus Materials, No-Hunger Bread and How To Find A Health-Care Practitioner. They believed.
There is a page after the Table Of Contents and before anything else, even the acknowledgments, titled in big, bold print, DISCLAIMER. Only four paragraphs long, it contains Mr. Trudeau’s diatribe on the Constitution, lawyers, and his dissatisfaction with not being able to practice medicine without a license. He implies that free speech should be free of accountability or responsibility and free from the threat of civil disagreement in a court of law. It is on this page that Kevin Trudeau offers the best advice on how to receive his book.
Ladies and gentlemen, I offer you Kevin Trudeau’s review of his own book, from within its own pages:
“Heaven forbid someone reads these words and claims to be adversely affected by them, thus ensuring a barrage of lawsuits filed under the guise of protecting the unknowing victims who were stupid enough to read this and believe it!”
‘Nuff said.
