When Is The Earliest A Beta Hcg Test Will Be Accurate?

When is the earliest a BETA (quantitative) Hcg test be accurate? I assumed I had Od on cd 20 and had a test done at 15dpo it was negative. However, after seeing my Dr. He thinks I may have Od as late as CD 27 so I could be as early as 8dpo. Could the BETA have been taken too early and given inaccurate results at 8dpo??

If you are 8DPO then it’s highly likely the beta test would be negative, as the embryo may not have even implanted yet if you did conceive- which means your hCG levels would still have been <5. Give it until what your dcotor thinks could be 14DPO for a repeat blood test as it will e accurate by then.
