Is It Normal For My Hcg Levels To Be 690.5 And My Ultrasound To Only Show A Sac?

I recently had a positive pregnancy test and because I had a recent cyst and some abdominal pain the nurse scheduled me for an ultrasound. The cyst was gone, but I should have been 7 1/2 weeks and the ultrasound only showed a sac instead of a fetus with a heartbeat. They sent me for bloodwork and my HcG was 690.5. I haven’t gotten the results back from the 48 hr repeat, but I was informed by a nurse that if the hormones don’t at least double I will probably loose the baby and should consider terminating it now, which is not an option for me. When should I start to worry?

When should I start to worry?
Well we know you are now. But you should not. I have seen levles be 475.9. And then in two weeks more then double.
Try to relax. I know it is hard.
The pussycat dolls (new addition show)is on tv you can watch them and yell at the tv and tell them there to dang skinny!!!

now first i am going to say this please please please would ultra sound tecs stop scearing the hell out of mothers.
second of all i lost a baby in august at 20 weeks as a scan showed there was a problem with my baby so i had a amnio at 19 weeks followin me looseing my baby due 2 a infection caused by the needel. all results came back normal my daughter was born alive at 20 weeks and struggled away for 26 minutes. scans can be very very wrong the next month and no period i was told my hcg levels had gone back up 2 62 you are pregnant with baby number 3.
now i was sent 4 yet another deveistating ultra sound where they told me i was 5.1weeks pregnant and that there was a abnormal genistation sack no yolk sack or fetal pole seen at all they sent me 2 my dovtor and my doctor recomended a d&c well i didn’t and got a really good midwife.and we got 2 12 weeks then couldnt here baby yet was really worried. but heard baby at 16weeks and i am now 25 weeks 2moro. yay so dont give in a baby needs love and it will grow have faith.
I had an u/s at 6 weeks 4 days. there was a yolk sakc and a fetal pole right to the left of it. good luck, and i hope it all turns out ok. hang in there.
There is a possibility that you aren’t as far along as you think. Usually at 7 weeks a heartbeat can be seen. I wouldn’t get too worried yet, because there is the chance that you ovulated later then you think.
Wait on the hcg results before agreeing on a d&c. If it’s indeed a blighted ovum, then I personally would wait until the 9 week mark before agreeing to have the d&c.
