This author has quite an unsavory past.
1991
Served a 2-year prison term for credit card fraud.
The FTC said that he made false claims.
Also in 1991, he pled guilty to larceny in a Cambridge, Massachusetts, state court for writing $80,000 in worthless checks. He acquired the checking account by posing as a doctor to increase his credibility with bank officials.
He was a busy man in 1991. In Boston, he charged and convicted of credit card fraud.
He misappropriated funds using credit card numbers of customers who purchased his memory-improvement courses.
Did he think they would forget how much money they spent on his course?
We’re not talking about $1,000. No his ambitions are much bigger.
$122,735.68 is the amount he defrauded from American Express.
2003
He was fined over $2 million dollars regarding claims made for one of his products called
Coral Calcium Supreme. At that time law, from selling products in infomercials, banned him. He was also banned from selling health care products in any format. However, the constitutional right to free speech cannot prohibit from using infomercials to sell his books and newsletter.
He is the only person to ever be banned to sell products by the FTC.
He has no medical training of any nature.
Many of his customers have filed complaints of unexpected charges on their credit cards after purchasing his newsletter.
The New York state Consumer Protection Board warns Trudeau’s customers that Trudeau is selling their name and contact information to telemarketers and junk mailers. They have engaged a toll free number for customers to call to get more information.
Now that you have been made aware of the author’s history, let’s take a look at the book.
In chapter 6 of his book, the chapter entitled “How to Never Get Sick Again” suggests that by staying away from microwaves, wearing white, or sleeping on a magnetic mattress pad will prevent you from getting sick. Doing those things probably can’t hurt you but are they really preventive?
He recommends getting 15 colonics in 30 days. A colonic is similar to an enema but the procedure is different in that the bowels do not retain the water as they would with an enema.
Dr. David Johnson, vice president of the American College of Gastroenterology says “There is no medical reason to have even one of these procedures, which typically involve purging the bowels with enemas, let alone 15 in one month.”
Dr. Johnson also says, “All that purging could lead to dehydration or electrolyte imbalances, which can disturb heart rhythms.”
After reading his book, Christine Miller contacted the FTC and said, “I recently purchased the book and feel like the whole thing is a huge scam. The book has vague information urging the reader to join the Web site for a fee for specific information. However, when you join the Web site, after you give your credit card info and your order is processed, then you get the disclaimer stating brand names cannot be mentioned, as promised. Also, the things that are promised upon joining are not available.”
Tradeau talks about the greed of the drug industry but he is pulling in 2 million dollars a year selling what amounts to his opinion. Remember, he has no medical training. He claims that the drug companies offer false hope but his book offers real hope.
Let’s just hope people quit giving their hard earned money to a convicted felon.
DECA UPDATES
It is estimated that there are over 100 anabolic steroids, comprised of old, new, designer, legitimate, foreign, domestic and everything in between. But among this diverse pack of AS, Nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin® brand name) is still as widely used today as ever before. It is the undisputed granddaddy of all steroids, and is used by pro bodybuilders, powerlifters, Olympic competitors (don’t tell the IOC) and pro athletes around the world.
Unlike its testosterone counterparts, Deca is actually a confirmed progestin. In fact, at the site of the receptor, it actually binds better than testosterone. This is crucial to know when putting together a program of chemical enhancement, because it can be used strategically within a cycle or a specified period of time to interact positively with anabolic steroids.
1978 PDR Description:
Deca-Durabolin is nandrolone decanoate, a long-acting anabolic agent, dissolved in sesame oil for intramuscular injection. Chemically it is 19 nor-A4-androstene-17 beta-ol-3-one-decanoate.
Action: Anabolic steroids are synthetic derivatives of testosterone. The action of Deca-Durabolin (nandrolone decanoate injection N.F.) is primarily anabolic (protein sparing). It promotes body tissue-building processes and reverses catabolic or tissue depleting processes. Nitrogen balance is improved with anabolic agents but only when there is sufficient intake of calories and protein. The deletion of the CH3 group from the C-19-position has resulted in reduction of its androgenic properties and retention and enhancement of its anabolic, tissue-building properties. Thus it is possible to employ doses that provide significant anabolic effects without undesired androgenic effects. Complete dissociation of anabolic and androgenic effects has not been achieved. The actions of anabolic steroids are therefore similar to those of male sex hormones with the possibility of causing serious disturbances of growth and sexual development if given to young children-Anabolic steroids suppress the gonadotropic functions of the pituitary and may exert a direct effect upon the testis.
Indications: Based on a review of this drug by the National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council and/or other information, FDA has classified the indication(s) as follows:
Probably Effective: As adjunctive therapy in senile and post-menopausal osteoporosis. Anabolic steroids are without value as primary therapy but may be of value as adjunctive therapy. Equal or greater consideration should be given to diet, calcium balance, physiotherapy and good general health-promoting measures. In pituitary dwarfism anabolic agents may be used with care until growth hormone is more available.
Possibly Effective: In the treatment of those conditions in which a potent tissue-building or protein-sparing action is desired (eg. pre and post surgical care, burns), in the control of metastatic breast cancer and as adjuvant therapy of certain types of refractory anemia. Final classification of the less than effective indications require further investigation.
Contraindications:
1. Male patients with carcinoma of the prostate or breast.
2. Carcinoma of the breast in some females.
3. Pregnancy, because of masculinization of the fetus.
4. Nephrosis or the nephrotic phase of nephritis.
Precautions:
1. Hypercalcemia may develop both spontaneously and as a result of hormonal therapy in women with disseminated breast carcinoma. If it develops while on this agent, the drug should be stopped.
2. Caution is required in administering these agents to patients with cardiac, renal or hepatic disease. Edema may occur occasionally. Concomitant administration with adrenal steroids or ACTH may add to the edema.
3. If amenorrhea or menstrual irregularities develop the drug should be discontinued until the etiology is determined.
4. Anabolic steroids may increase sensitivity to oral anticoagulants. Dosage of the anticoagulant may have to be decreased in order to maintain the prothrombin time at the desired therapeutic level.
5. Anabolic steroids have been shown to alter glucose tolerance tests. Diabetics should be followed carefully and the insulin or oral hypoglycemic dosage adjusted accordingly.
6. Anabolic steroids should be used with caution in patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy.
7. Serum cholesterol may increase during therapy. Therefore, caution is required in administering these agents to patients with a history of myocardial infarction or coronary artery disease. Serial determinations of serum cholesterol should be made and therapy adjusted accordingly, Adverse Reactions:
1. In Males
a. Prepubertal
1) Phallic enlargement
2) Increased frequency of erections b. Post-pubertal
1) Inhibition of testicular function and oligospermia
2) Gynecomastia
2. In Females
a. Hirsutism, male pattern baldness, deepening of the voice and clitoral enlargement. These changes are usually irreversible even after prompt discontinuance of therapy and are not prevented by concomitant use of estrogens.
b. Menstrual irregularities
c. Masculinization of the fetus.
3. In Both Sexes
a. Nausea
b. Increased or decreased libido
c. Acne (especially in females and prepubertal males)
d. Inhibition of gonadotropin secretion.
e. Bleeding in patients on concomitant anticoagulant therapy.
f. Premature closure of epiphysis in children.
4. Alterations in these clinical laboratory tests:
a. The metyrapone test.
b. Glucose tolerance test.
c. The thyroid function tests: a decrease in the FBI, in thyroxine-binding capacity and radioactive iodine uptake.
d. The electrolytes: retention of sodium,
chlorides, water, potassium, phosphates and calcium.
e. Liver function tests:
1) Increased serum cholesterol.
2) Suppression of clotting factors II, V, I, VII, AND X.
Dosage and Administration; Deca-Durablin (nandrolone decanoate injection N.F.) is intended for deep intramuscular injection into the gluteal muscle preferably. For general anabolic effects in adults, the average dosage recommended is 50 to 100 mg. every 3 to 4 weeks. For children from two to thirteen years of age, the average dose is 25 to 50 mg. every; three to four weeks. Higher doses may be required for the treatment of severe disease states such as meta-static breast cancer, refractory anemias, etc,
The recommended dose: 100 to 200 mg, weekly based on therapeutic response, and; consideration of the benefit-to-risk ratio. Duration of therapy will depend on the response of the condition and the appearance of adverse reactions. If possible, therapy should be intermittent.
Supplied: Deca-Durabolin (in sterile sesame oil solution for intramuscular injection) is available in a potency ef 50 mg./cc. with 10% benzyl alcohol (preservative):

After having two children, it was really hard for me to lose the baby fat. I have been 30 pounds over my normal weight for years now.

Upon first learning you may be pregnant, most women are overjoyed, but even for these women it can also be an experience filled with trepidation. The feeling of the unknown, whether you’re doing the right things and of course maintaining that everything will be okay fulfills your every waking thought.
Here is a guide for women about the first stages of pregnancy.
SYMPTOMS OF EARLY PREGNANCY
The first obvious sign a women may be pregnant is the absence of a monthly period. Although this may be true, many people still feel that their period is coming due to very similar symptoms between pregnancy and that of a period.
Other symptoms include sore nipples and breasts, extreme fatigue; changes in taste preferences and smell can become overwhelming, and a general feeling of just being “off”. Some women suffer from morning sickness due to the changes in hormones, which can occur from waking to the evening.
TESTS TO PROVE PREGNANCY
When you may suspect you’re pregnant there are many tests available that will determine if you are or not. These tests determine the hormone HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin that is secreted after an egg is fertilized.
Some tests are very sensitive and can be performed very early after conception and some that will only work 4-6 weeks after conception.
Using a specimen of the woman’s urine, a small stick is inserted according to directions into it. Some ask to be placed in the urine stream and others provide a small cup to urinate into. It takes a lot of hype and guts and to achieve the ill-gained riches and dubious reputation as the most annoying snake-oil salesman on TV. However, Kevin Trudeau has earned that title with his infomercials that claim he can cure everything from obesity to PMS to falling hair with his “natural cures.”
Even if there were a grain of truth in all his claims, which is highly unlikely, all you need to do is look at his track record to know he is a phony. Several years ago, he was charged and fined because of false hype for a product he calls CCS, Coral Calcium Supreme. It cost him $2 million then, but it hasn’t stopped him from pushing new products, his medical advice books and subscription publications. He has been found in contempt of a Federal court order in an attempt to keep him from using misleading infomercials to peddle his medical advice books.
Apparently, he always manages to slip past all restraints and continues his TV promotions, particularly on a variety of medical cures and diets. Although Trudeau keeps disparaging legitimate MDs and calling them frauds, the guy has had no medical education at all. If that track record isn’t enough to convince you of his history, sixteen years ago, Trudeau served two years in jail for criminal credit card manipulation, and continues to be criticized for his underhanded medical and financial dealings with consumers.
Despite his well-earned punishment and many lost law suits filed by angry consumers, Trudeau continues to peddle an eclectic array of supposedly-miraculous products. Some of names, recalling old snake oil cures, include “Action Reading System”, “Eden’s Secret”, “Doctor Callahan’s Addiction Breaking System” and “Hair Farming.” Of course, you should believe they are just as effective as those cure-all products shilled by fast-talking “doctors” from the back of painted wagons on town squares of 18th and 19th Century rural America.
I don’t know how often you see Trudeau infomercials in your area, but they’re a regular daily, nightly and late-nightly happening in my city. In fact, I just turned on my TV at 11:30 am, and there is Kevin himself looking and talking like a great authority, and very sincerely discussing his “natural cures.” At first glance, a viewer may believe he/she is watching a news program, because the studio set is designed to look that way. Two well-dressed people sit at a table making serious conversation with each other. As they gab, their sales pitches evolve from an actor asking questions, while the other … often Kevin himself … answers with a great air of authority.
That’s just a brief round-up of his TV hype, and I doubt if anyone could find anything remotely resembling truth about Kevin Trudeau’s snake-oil cures.

Almost everywhere you turn you will see lotions that claim to remove fat from whichever area of the body you apply them to, diets that claim you can lose weight by just eating your favourite junk food and products that claim they can magically make your fat melt away. Rumour 1: You can Spot Reduce Fat- Many gels, lotions, pills, diets and exercise programs claim that you can burn fat from specific areas of your body. Other myths suggest that fat can be removed from particular areas of the body just by exercising that body part e.g. by doing stomach crunches you can burn belly fat.
Unfortunately, the truth is that you cannot spot reduce fat. Whilst it would be nice to do a specific exercise or take a special product and remove body fat from problem areas, in reality this is just not possible. The only way to banish fat from stubborn areas of your body is to reduce your overall body fat levels and the best way to do this is through good old diet and exercise.
Rumour 2: The Best Way to Lose Weight is through Cardiovascular Exercise- Before you continue reading let me say that I am not discounting the effectiveness of cardiovascular exercise as a fat burning solution. However, it is not necessarily the best choice and you should consider the other options that are available.
Improving your diet can be a great way to lose weight. If you are currently eating unhealthy foods then you can really drop the pounds by substituting a few more healthy options into your diet. Even if you are eating a relatively healthy diet, trimming a few calories from your daily intake can work wonders for your overall weight loss. Cardio does help you burn fat but you have to remember it is not the only piece of the puzzle.
Rumour 3: Crash Diets lead to Long Term Weight Loss- Crash diets do work in the short term because you will be consuming a lot less calories than normal. However, in the long term your body adapts and goes into starvation mode which slows down your metabolic rate drastically, meaning that although you are eating fewer calories your are also burning a lot less. Furthermore, by depriving your body of calories you can stop it functioning properly and do some serious damage to your overall health.
When it comes to eating, the best way to lose weight in the long term is simply to eat more sensibly. Identify areas of your diet which require improvement and then make moderate changes. For example, if you are eating a bag of crisps every day try to swap it for a piece of fruit instead. If you feel you are eating too much try to slightly reduce the size of your portions. Small dietary changes such as these are a much better way to burn fat than the drastic and dangerous changes suggested by crash diets.
Rumour 4: HCG can help you Lose Weight- HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a hormone produced by the placenta of pregnant women. It was originally used to determine whether or not a woman was pregnant but more recently has been touted as a weight loss solution. There are a number of people claiming that HCG can help you lose weight. However, none of these claims are backed up by evidence. At the time of writing, not one medical or scientific study can prove that HCG is an effective weight loss supplement.
I hope this article allows you to separate some of the fact from fiction in the health and fitness industry. There are a lot of myths, lies, rumours and half truths floating around the industry in the hope that you will believe them and part with your hard earned cash. These reminds me of a close neighbor of mine who tried to conceive many years , she became pregnant and everything became normal in her home .Her husband who has been keeping late night came home early,families became happy with the couple.Some months after her conception she started spotting blood, rushed to the hospital and the doctor told her it was normal ,telling her to come in two weeks for her pre-natal,since she was in her early stage.Two weeks came and she was glad it was time to hear her babies heart beat but there was no heartbeat after six weeks,it felt like a joke.The doctor called her and said the baby had to be removed,this was a big shock,she mourned about these news not knowing she had a bigger task ahead.When she got home she thought about what the doctor said with her husband ,they decided to leave the pregnancy maybe there will be heartbeat after a week but there was no heartbeat.Therefore the couple made a decision to remove the baby ,since it might damage her womb ,if quick decision was not made.They removed the fetus,when it was 8 weeks,they told the doctors they wanted the tissue diagnosis for further treatment.
The tissue was diagnosis weeks later and they were informed it was a partial mole,explaining it is a rare situation in 1 to 1000 cases in the united state.They had to visit the hospital regularly for a blood work to check the amount of (HCG )Level in her blood,this determines if (HCG) is risen or a decrease if it is risen with a high level for months or more than ,that means she will need a chemotherapy treatment to stop the growth of the tissue which will form cancer cell.
It was a lot to handle for that period she mourned her first baby,expose to the risk of D&C ,in doubt of her fertility.Her blood level was high and never came down,she was advised to take the chemotherapy which she started.Years later she became pregnant with a physically challenged baby who died of car accident when she was 5years old.
Henceforth,my neighbor decided to keep herself busy . She engaged in garden design which meant a lot of hard work,it gave her something to think about rather than getting pregnant.

That is how much money Trudeau was convicted of trying to swindle from American Express.
This was no youthful indescretion, as Mr. Trudeau claims. He was a grown man who was 28 years old when convicted. The $5,000 he swindled from several banks, including Chemical and Citibank seems like mere chicken feed. Maybe it was seed money to get his “business’ started.
The state of Massachusetts surely did not see it as a minor infraction of the law. They parked him in a correctional facility for 2 years.
Trudeau used false names and social security numbers to obtain credit cards, then spent the money like a drunken sailor then defaulted on the payments.
The entertaining psychiatric report that his lawyer provided to the court recommended a probation term, no jail time, for poor Mr. Trudeau.
According to Dr. Daniel Schwartz, Trudeau was simply obsessed with money and was feeling “compelled to spend everything he earned and live like a king.”
Suffering with an “inner psychological turmoil” that was caused by his being put up for adoption at birth, “Trudeau’s drive to succeed has been so intense that it has on numerous occasions impaired his judgment,” reported Schwartz.
Trudeau’s prior grand lacency rap proved that he was simply not in control of himself.
Schwartz deduced that Trudeau had a “mixed personality disorder” and “an adjustment disorder with mixed disturbance of emotions and conduct.”
In am emotional letter to Judge Edward Harrington, Trudeau’s mother Mary, described her son as a prince who was “president of the Junior Clowns of America,” a position from which he “helped and guided children interested in clowning.”
He’s a clown alright. Not too many people will disagree with that thought.
Despite such outstanding citizenship and commendable work, Trudeau was sentenced to two years in prison. he was also ordered to make restitution on his credit card schemes.
After serving just 21 months in at Club Fed, Trudeau was released in August 1993 and placed on two years probation.
But wait, there’s more strange twists surrounding Kevin Tredeau.
Remember Chappaquiddick? Judge Edward Harrington’s law partner Paul Markham, was one of the two individuals at Ted Kennedy’s side the night Mary Jo Kopoechne drowned while inside the upside down car of Mr. Kennedy that was driven off the Dyke Bridge on the Chappaquiddick Island.
